Fancy's teppanyaki - Pioneer in The Industry

Fancy was established in 1975 with core business in designing and manufacturing stainless steel cooking equipments. It was not until late 1970s that a rare opportunity presented itself a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant saw the potential market in Taiwan, and sought the local help from Fancy to tailor-make the griddles for the very first teppanyaki restaurant on the island. It was a move that not only led to the popularization of the elegant exotic cuisine, but also laid the foundation of Fancy's pioneering endeavor in teppanyaki griddle crafting.

70s to 80s Teppanyaki Griddle Formative Years

The primitive form of Fancy's teppanyaki griddle emulated the traditional Japanese style, with the body constructed with bricks and cement.

80s to 90s Teppanyaki Griddle Revolutionizing

Advances in industrial technologies changed the face of the restaurant sector, and gave birth to revolutionary equipments such as baking oven and dishwasher. Fancy teppanyaki griddle also surfed the innovative tidal wave by adopting stainless steel enclosure and other modern components. Fancy also underwent the transformation from an OEM factory to promoting its own brand.

90s Teppanyaki Griddle Defining Niche

The development of Fancy teppanyaki griddle shifted its emphasis to functionality, and eventually surpassed Japanese rivals on technology and know-how.
